Our Story

Hello, and welcome to all the ways we can explore the marvelous place we call Earth.

We think we are dromomaniacs, called to wander and discover the globe. Maybe we were bit by the travel bug, but we embrace that need to explore and learn all places and cultures. Do we need to take a plane, a boat, a train, a bus, own feet, flippers, or our favorite - a car? We’re in. We like to see the world around us through travel, culture and food. Travel doesn’t just mean flying half way around the world on a long trip. New experiences can be found all around, even if you’re not looking.

We often get asked questions or comments about our travel. Some are: how do you choose places, how do you find what to do, how are you sharing a beer with your tour guide, I wanna travel like you do, how do you know what to pack, what do you pack in, I had no idea you were so bougie, you really can take a week long trip in a two seater with everything you need? And our favorite: You inspire me to travel or we’re going with you next time!

So here we are, hoping to answer all the questions we can and give you a peek into what goes on under the hood (you know keeping that car theme alive). We’ll try to keep in simple, stay humble and inspire you all to find your own road less traveled.

The Automobile

It might be the inspiration for our site, but vehicles with four wheels are just one thing that give us our sense of connection to the world. Whether it’s cars, trains, boats or airplanes, the journey is sometimes as exciting as the destination.

The Boat

Our newest mode of transportation. While the Covid-19 Pandemic limited travel, we desperately needed a way to explore - but keep ourselves safe. Our solution, let’s explore the Puget Sound, by boat.

We hope that sharing our experiences inspires you to explore new places, people, and culture. Feel free to leave us a comment, contact us, or follow us on Instagram! Got an idea for an upcoming adventure, or want to collaborate with us on a post? Drop us an email.
